LCS Shine is an awnless Limagrain variety first tested in the Variety Testing Program in 2019. It is best adapted to drier precipitation zones with a similar high yield as LCS Sonic near the top of the trial. Test weight was near or slightly below average at all sites, which is comparable to Sonic, and lower than Hulk. It has very good stripe rust resistance and intermediate winter survival. It has the most desirable end-use quality with an intermediate falling number rating. It is a shorter, earlier maturing variety that may be a good fit if planting late.
