Both builds are damage overtime and probably the only similarity. Cold dot is just as tanky with Aegis/Melding combo 300k ehp possible with 25mil + shaper dps. Cold Dot has way higher single target damage potential with Vortex/Cold Snap. There is no freeze from cold dot.
